Design Engineer

Lynton Trailers (UK) Ltd is a successful design and manufacturer of trailers and vehicles across many areas such as Healthcare, Emergency Services and Military Applications along with Exhibition, Hospitality, Display and Training.

We are currently seeking a Design Engineer with an understanding of manufacturing and appreciation of design.

Candidates will be responsible for:-

Reporting directly to the Managing Director

Design and development of existing and new products

Design ideas into production engineering drawings

Maintaining current and new information including bills of material and manufacturing documents

Understand and implement regulations that are related to the product range

Investigate and process customer requirements for sales

Visual presentation of products

Attributes of the role:-

Good CAD skills both 2D & 3D AutoCAD and Inverter.

Communicating effectively and professionally with customers and suppliers

Strong attention to detail

Sufficient engineering capability and experience to create and detail effective engineering solutions

Understand manufacturing system and bills of materials

Salary:-

Is negotiable dependant on experience – £25,000.00. to £35.000.00. + pension and mobile phone.
