Three Demountable Breast Screening Units were commissioned by South Manchester "Nightingale Centre" to further enhance their Digital Breast Screening Programme. The fully transportable self-contained unit provides disabled access throughout. The patient waiting area, separate reception area, soundproof consultation, patient changing facilities and staff recreation. This type of unit not only provides transportable screening but has also been successfully integrated as an extension to the main Breast Screening Unit at the Hospital.
